Brief
Design a cover for an issue of DG magazine with the theme: ‘celebrities’.

The celebrity: Jin Xing
Jin Xing is the Chinese transgender celebrity (most popular TV hostess, prima ballerina, modern dancer, choreographer).

Concept
ThThe portrait shows her courageous and uninhibited attitude through the expression in her eyes as well as her posture.
The theme colour is red, communicating assertiveness, daring, enthusiasm, powerful energy, echoing Jin Xing’s personality.
The process of making the cover
The portrait was done using Procreate. Then I uploaded the image into Photoshop and adjust the contrast and size of the image created from the iPad.
The cover was created via Adobe InDesign.
